3 Ways to Achieve Your Marketing Goals in 2019

  • Spend less money: yeah, there’s a little extra money in the bank
  • Learn a new skill: Rosetta Stone, conquering the world one language at a time!
  • Get organized: Marie Kondo, you’ve changed my life!


Have you considered your marketing goals? Increasing your brand awareness. Getting more retainer client business. Generating more leads. Do you have a plan to turn these goals into results?

Achieving your marketing goals doesn’t have to be anxiety-inducing. Keep these 3 tips in mind when implementing 2019’s marketing strategy.

Reflect on lessons learned in 20182018, 2019, new year, goals, resolutions

Last year had ups and downs. If you had more ups, consider yourself lucky. If you had more downs, consider yourself blessed.

Ups are fantastic. Winning feels good. Study the wins to figure out why you won. Replicate those conditions whenever you can, and you’ll have a recipe for success.

Take heed, however – your recipe won’t last forever. What worked today won’t necessarily work tomorrow, so don’t fixate on a process just because it yielded great results once upon a time.

As amazing as ups are, downs are exponentially more so. With the right attitude, you learn more from losses than from wins. Be honest with yourself, study the why behind your losses, and store your findings for the future.

Update your buyer personas

Is it possible your buyer personas changed last year? Their needs have likely evolved and they’re facing new goals and challenges, so now is a good time to re-evaluate and make changes.

Maybe your landscape has changed, through company and industry advances or practices. Are you adapting before your competitors are?

Stay educated

Are you in touch with the times? Are you reading up on the latest and greatest your industry has to offer? “What’s geofencing? What’s geotargeting? How can these technologies help me?” Current events and trends are shaping the landscape and should affect what you do.

Your mind is your greatest asset. Educate yourself and stay relevant! Those that don’t adapt are doomed to be left behind.

Reflect. Update. Educate. Follow these tips and you’ll be well on your way to a sound marketing strategy in 2019.
