Last week, we talked about how AI is poised to transform the way we do marketing.
To prove it to you, this week we’re offering a list of the AI that’s already out there, quietly boosting marketers’ productivity every day.
Most of the available productivity AI is found in bots, which are a “type of automated technology that’s programmed to execute certain tasks without human intervention.” There are bots for almost anything work-related across all the platforms you use every day.
Here are a few that will start saving you time and effort right away:
- Amy is a personal assistant that schedules your meetings. When you get a meeting request, email her at email@example.com to set the appointment. She handles the “I’m available between 8 and 10 on even numbered days but not before 11 on the third Tuesday” dance, coordinates the time, and sends you an invite.
- Jarvis is an owl that lives in Facebook Messenger and sends you task reminders. If you don’t love talking out loud to your phone but do love social media, Jarvis is for you.
- Penny is a personal finance bot that offers financial information via a chat interface. You can ask Penny how much you spent on food last month; when you realize it’s too much, you can ask her to send you reminders to spend less.
Are bots the new apps? Probably not – but, like all of AI, they’re going nowhere but up.
