Landing pages increase conversions, gather leads, and drive traffic.
But there are 3 you’re probably neglecting.
For a not-quite-finished product, this provides a product “teaser,” reveals the launch date, and offers to notify visitors when the product is available.
Use this to (possibly) keep subscribers and comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. Offer to unsubscribe but also allow visitors to change the frequency of emails. Add links to site pages (just because they don’t want emails doesn’t mean they’re not interested in you) and include a resubscribe button for cold feet.
404s are undesirable, but you can make them work for you. Use humor to offset the error, and direct visitors back to your homepage.
