Is your website responsive?

Share:

More customers are using smartphones and tablets to surf the net for products and services. A poor mobile experience can be devastating for many businesses and responsive design ensures every user is having the same experience no matter which device they use.

If you're unfamiliar with responsive web design, you're not alone. A responsive site is designed to adjust and reformat its content to fit any tablet, smartphone, mobile device or desktop computer. A website appears differently on many larger desktop monitors than it would appear on smaller mobile devices and this can drive your customers away to visit your competitors responsive site.

Responsive design has many advantages for small and large businesses including:

  • Your content is created once and delivered consistently to multiple devices
  • The customers experience is the same across the board no matter which device they choose to use
  • Mobile usage has exploded, in December 2013 mobile traffic in the US was greater than 50% of the overall web traffic
