Great post Dan! Building and managing an effective social media plan for B2B sales can be intimidating and overwhelmingly complex. Where do I begin? My personal experience shows that developing quality content tailored to your target audience is of paramount importance. And then updating your content on a frequent enough basis to engage prospective buyers or influencers is what delivers the returns that we all are interested in.

A good writer to support your efforts is definitely an effective way to extend your checkbook into social marketing, but as you said, you need to make the time to be interviewed, and then edit/clarify what is written. Thanks for the comment

Dan,

Great point about the importance of content - talking to a couple of my friends who run their own businesses about the same thing - a suggested approach is to possibly hire someone to interview them on a series of topics and then have the full content "ghost written" for them.
